Delete Your HexWave Account

This page explains how to delete your HexWave account and the data associated with it. HexWave is an I Ching reading app operated by Asaf Eliyahu.

Delete from inside the app

1. Open HexWave and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your account and all associated personal data are deleted immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone.

Deleted the app already, or cannot sign in?

Use the contact form at hexwave.app/contact and send a request from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify that you own the account email, then delete the account and its data.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted we permanently remove:

• Your email address and password
• Your birth date, birth time, and birth location (stored encrypted)
• Your name and avatar image
• The people you added and their birth data (stored encrypted)
• Your connections, mutual maps, and profile
• Your subscription record

Deletion is total. No personal data is retained after the account is removed.

What is kept

Reading interpretations (hexagram profiles, daily readings, and mutual-map text) are stored in a shared, anonymous content library keyed by hexagram, never tied to your identity. This shared text contains none of your personal data and remains available to other users after your account is deleted.

Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel the subscription in that store, which also keeps its own transaction records under its own policies.
