A yin line in the lower human position creates a moment of vulnerability - misfortune arrives not from any wrongdoing but simply from circumstance, like a cow tied up that a traveler takes and the farmer loses. The loss is real but not deserved, which means there is nothing to correct, only to absorb.
Hexagram 25 Line 4 (25.4)
A yang line in the upper human position holds firm against the temptation to tamper with what is going well. The instruction here is to remain in place and not overreach - what belongs to you cannot be taken, and what does not belong to you cannot be grasped by force.

The ruling yang line at the peak of the hexagram describes illness or difficulty that is not the result of error, and therefore requires no intervention to manufacture a cure. When a problem arises from pure circumstance rather than misalignment, the correct response is watchful non-interference rather than aggressive remedy.
