The pattern of your day
January 8 belongs to Capricorn, earth, and to people who price a promise at forty years before answering, then cannot revise it.
When you commit, you commit knowing precisely what it will cost, which is why you do it so seldom.
Other people say yes and discover the price afterwards, in instalments, over years. You have already run the forty years before you answer: the weekends, the arguments, the things it forecloses, the version of your life that will not now be happening. Then you say yes anyway, having seen the invoice.
Your yes is therefore worth more than almost anybody's, and the people holding one from you generally have no idea what they are holding.
The rigidity is on the other side of the same quality. You cannot revise.
Circumstances change. Other people renegotiate as a matter of course, without any sense of wrongdoing, because they understand a commitment as a good faith estimate made under earlier conditions. You regard renegotiation as a species of dishonesty, and you have stayed inside arrangements for years after both parties would have been better served by somebody honestly reopening the terms.
Keeping a promise nobody wants kept any more is not integrity. It is only the shape of it.

What is a Birth Hexagram?
Your Birth Hexagram Triad is three things at once: a Primary Hexagram (who you are), a Changing Line (your growth edge), and a Resultant Hexagram (who you are becoming). It is computed, not guessed, from the Chinese lunar calendar via the Plum Blossom method.
